Why not start your own website or blog? Once you already have a blog, you can submit them to different Web Directories to invite more readers.
A blog is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order.
Blogging is very easy. You can write about anything under the sun. For newbies, they’d start a blog using Wordpress, Blogspot and etc. Not that I’m saying there’s anything wrong with it. I’m only saying that you can earn from your blog when you have your own domain (although you can put ads on Blogspot, that’s why there a lot of bloggers using a blogspot domain). Anyway, let’s go back to Web Directories. A web directory or link directory is a directory on the World Wide Web. It specializes in linking to other web sites and categorizing those links. A web directory is not a search engine and does not display lists of web pages based on keywords; instead, it lists web sites by category and subcategory.
Some good examples of good Web Directories are Jasmine Directory and Max Directory. Getting exposure for your blog is important in building a following, readership, and revenue. There are many things to consider when building links to your blog such as blog-hopping or link exchanging, but few are as easy to implement and cost effective and less time-consuming as submitting to blog directories. =D
