I dunno,
Rants,
Vindicta
I’ve been grumpy today. The simplest things annoyed me easily. No, I don’t have my period yet. I just have these mood swings sometimes every month and they usually mean I have my period or I will have my period or… something else. One of the reasons why I’ve been annoyed all day, I still can’t figure out how to transfer my JS-Kit comments on Wordpress and I gave up! I won’t rant about it anymore! ‘Coz ranting and whining about it made me yell at my boyfriend a while ago. . . but we’re okay now.

In other news, I have a subdomain already! I encourage my boyfriend (he’s also the admin of this forum called Vindicta that I’m also a member of) to go for his webcomic idea ‘coz I think he’s really good, and even offered him a subdomain ‘coz he doesn’t have his own yet. And yesterday, it’s finally up and running! Yehey! I even told him I’d promote his webcomic on this site. He already wrote his first blog post, In-Game Pre-Emptive Strike! His site is still new so there’s not much to see yet. Below are some of his awesome sketches.
A while ago I checked out his other works and even tried coloring some of them using Photoshop. The comic strips were really funny and I hope he’d put his works on his site soon. You see, I’m a very supportive girlfriend. =D
I hope you guys would visit him sometime and also, if you do visit him, can I ask you a favor? Please tell him, “Dada loves you…”— hehe. XD

I love Lolita Fashion. Too bad I can’t afford a lolita outfit of my own. So instead, I’ve edited an image of myself in a lolita outfit using some of my favorite image editing softwares.
Image editors are one of the two primary categories of graphics software. Images that are created and edited in this type of application are referred to as bitmaps because they are made up a series of pixels in a grid.
For example:

Tada! It’s me in a lolita outfit! =D (My editing could use a little improvement though)
So here are the image-editing applications I’ve used for the photos above:
GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) – It is often used as an alternative to Adobe Photoshop because you can download GIMP for free. GIMP can:
— Fix perspective distortions.
— Supports different file formats like jpg, gif, png, tiff, bmp, psd and many more.
— Lasso tool <– Oh yes. You can cut images more accurately in GIMP. Try it and see the comparison. As for the images above, I used the lasso tool in GIMP to cut my face and then saved as a psd file.
Adobe Photoshop CS3 – I used the trial edition, but still ranked first in image-editing downloads because of it’s interface. Unlike any other image-editing softwares, Photoshop offers non-destructive editing. Some of my favorite Photoshop features are:
— Dodge, Burn, and Sponge tools that now intelligently preserve color and tone details.
— And my favorite, the Clone Stamp and the Healing Brush <– For retouching images more easily and precisely without making it look awkward. I have used these features the most for the photos above.
You can view other image-editing softwares in this article.
