Boyfriend,
Computers,
Cuteness,
I dunno,
Rants,
Vindicta
I’ve been grumpy today. The simplest things annoyed me easily. No, I don’t have my period yet. I just have these mood swings sometimes every month and they usually mean I have my period or I will have my period or… something else. One of the reasons why I’ve been annoyed all day, I still can’t figure out how to transfer my JS-Kit comments on Wordpress and I gave up! I won’t rant about it anymore! ‘Coz ranting and whining about it made me yell at my boyfriend a while ago. . . but we’re okay now.

In other news, I have a subdomain already! I encourage my boyfriend (he’s also the admin of this forum called Vindicta that I’m also a member of) to go for his webcomic idea ‘coz I think he’s really good, and even offered him a subdomain ‘coz he doesn’t have his own yet. And yesterday, it’s finally up and running! Yehey! I even told him I’d promote his webcomic on this site. He already wrote his first blog post, In-Game Pre-Emptive Strike! His site is still new so there’s not much to see yet. Below are some of his awesome sketches.
A while ago I checked out his other works and even tried coloring some of them using Photoshop. The comic strips were really funny and I hope he’d put his works on his site soon. You see, I’m a very supportive girlfriend. =D
I hope you guys would visit him sometime and also, if you do visit him, can I ask you a favor? Please tell him, “Dada loves you…”— hehe. XD

What’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever done for him?

EDIT: I’m using the default Wordpress Comment Form now. YAY! I guess the reason why my WP comment form got f*cked up before is because I edited some of the CSS but didn’t know what to do.

Anyway I failed to blog hop last week because my dad prohibited me and my siblings from using the internet and I don’t know until when. But because I’m smart enough, I found out where my dad hides the modem that’s why I’m able to update my blog. Hahahaha!
I wasn’t able to meet the 100 comments I hoped for and I don’t want to wait anymore. I also don’t think I’d achieve 100 comments without blog hopping on a regular basis so I have decided to update my blog anyway. And I will really try my best to achieve 100 comments on one post for the first time without skipping my weekly sched of updating.
While I wasn’t online, I’ve been spending eons on The Sims 3. My boyfriend installed it on my laptop after he fixed it. It’s very addicting, especially for someone like me who loves to design stuffies. Since I’m currently not enrolled, I thought to myself, maybe I could practice my field of study, that is Architecture by playing The Sims 3. LOL! I’ll update this post again with the screenshots of my sims.

How many comments do you get per blog post on average?
Do you play The Sims?

…on the web, and everywhere else. After all, first impression is mostly based on appearance – it is also the same for blogs. In order to get people to look at your blog, appearance is very important.
Having a nice-looking site makes all the difference between a first time visitor to stay or simply pass by your blog. Wordpress is the blog platform I use for Nagashiko.Com because it’s very easy to use and very easy to customize. This is where Wordpress layouts come into play. Just Google Wordpress Layouts, and thousands of search results are there to choose from
I’ve seen many blogs around the net and some, I really find unattractive because they were flooded with ads and too many unnecessary widgets. Other than that, the color schemes of some blogs hurt my eyes.
In order to make a visitor stay on your site, make sure your site is pleasing to the eyes. I’m not saying that my site is very pretty and you should follow my example, nope! I’m only saying that a blog shouldn’t have too much graphics and other stuffies you don’t really need, because too much is not always pretty. It’s just like dressing up; putting on too many pretty things doesn’t always make you look prettier, like these girls…

But we shouldn’t dwell too much on appearance because it is still the content of your blog that will make them your common visitors. A nice looking site is nothing if the content isn’t nice or reader friendly.
But yeah, if you already have good blog content, spend some time to make your blog more attractive to gain popularity and so your visitors will remember you. =)
